On Thursday, October 11 from 5-7pm, I will be one of three authors making a presentation at Winnipesaukee Winery in the antiques barn next to the 1810 House B&B in Wolfeboro, NH (Rte 28). The event (cost is $20) will include a glass of fine wine from the winery plus a variety of hors d'oeuvres and an opportunity to purchase personally autographed books from me, Kristina Schram, and K.M. Doherty. Remember, Christmas is coming!

seven storied houses cover image webThis has been a long time coming! Although I finished this collection of literary short stories over a year ago, there have been too many things going on for both Jim (Publisher/Editor of BBD Publishing) and me and we haven't been able to give the book the time it deserved. But short of telling Jim he needed to 'drop everything' and focus on my book, the book is now done and we will be picking copies up from the printer next week.

As of Friday, August 25, I am no longer in the Lakes Region Art Association Gallery. This was a decision I made based on changes I see coming in my life. Jim and I recently signed up with an online marketing guru to help promote and sell my books. Since I have five books (well, one is waiting in the wings) and mostly only my friends and relatives know about them, I thought it was time I put more energy into getting them on the internet where you can literally reach the world.

I am excited to announce my new and improved website! To be completely honest, it is more exciting and new for me than it is for the internet world. The major change is how much easier it is for me to add new artwork to my site through the back-end.  I used to have to add artwork to my site and then to Pay Pal to make it available for sale. A long process, I would wait until I had many pieces before I updated the site. But now the process is one entry for me and it shows up in my gallery and also in Pay Pal. Huge time saver - thank you to my web guy extraordinaire, Jim Fontaine (aka my husband)!
