ten storied buildings by dj geribo cover front web thumbnail

We've all heard about all the closings due to the government shutdown this past month and a half. But what I found out, and very likely not many people know this, is that the Library of Congress also shut down. What does the LOC shutting down have to do with an author and how would it affect me publishing and printing my book, you might ask?

Well, since I include a Library of Congress Control Number (LCCN) in all of my books, because I want my books available for library cataloging and distribution (not a requirement if you do not want libraries to purchase and carry your book), I need to get a LCCN. My goal is to make it as easy as possible for anyone and everyone to purchase any of my books.

So, after waiting more than a month for the government to open, I hope our wait is almost over now. I imagine they have a back log of work to do. And as soon as they get to my book, I will be able to order print copies of my latest book, "Ten Storied Buildings".
