Nat and Devon love riding their bikes more than anything else. But on this day, the road they've ridden on so many times before takes them to a place they never could have imagined. Is it a kid's paradise or a prison from which there is no escape?

Will they ever find their way home or has the answer been there all along, right in front of them? Or maybe they are where they are supposed to be after all, but where is that, exactly? Nat's frustration mounts as she searches for answers to her dilemma.

She's Dorothy in the 'Wizard of Oz' trying to find her way home, and even more frightening than how Dorothy finally found her way home because unlike Dorothy, Nat isn't dreaming, or is she? Join Nat and Devon as they embark on a life-changing adventure that could be the end of their lives, or a new beginning!

about Deep Lake House...

I loved the book "Deep Lake House" by DJ Geribo. It was so interesting hearing the stories about the people who came to vacation at the 210 year old house from the house itself. They were good people and bad people, happy and sad people, some of their stories spanning decades. Especially interesting was how their lives evolved along with the world events over the years. It's hard to put this book down right from the beginning.
