It was so interesting hearing the stories about the people who came to vacation at the 210 year old house from the house itself. They were good people and bad people, happy and sad people, some of their stories spanning decades. Especially interesting was how their lives evolved along with the world events over the years. It's hard to put this book down right from the beginning.— Viv W.
